Exercises - "Back to the Future",
"Dali Atomicus, Galconda and the Man on the moon", "Change One’s Stripe" & "Castle of the Pyrenees".

For our first few weeks of class, we are required to do several exercises in class.

1. Back to the Future.
For the exercise "Back to the Future", I wanted to colour in a vintage photo of a couple in a car. We are required to use photoshop to restore the black and white imagery into full colour.

2. Dali Atomicus, Galconda and the Man on the moon.
For the Dali Atomicus, Galcondo and the Man on the moon exercise, we are to recreate Dali's famous photograph. For this exercise, I took a picture of a cat, a jumping girl, water and a chair and created masking and shadow effects to recreate Dali's photo.

3. Change One’s Stripe.
For Change One's Stripe exercise, we are to create hybrid animals.
I decided to Photoshop a picture of a bird with human arms. I took a picture of a bird with an open beak and some hand gesture of a frustrated lady to make the picture look more interesting.

4. Castle of the Pyrenees.
For the Castle of the Pyreness exercise, we are to create a surrealistic picture.
For this exercise, I wanted to create a photo of a man holding an umbrella with a woman.
Here's the reference painting for this exercise:

Here are some photos I used to create this final exercise:
